Whether you need space for an overnight kit, or just really want a big hoagie with a tall beer at the summit, the Salomon ADV Skin 12 Vest is what you should be grabbing. With a 12-liter capacity, the ADV Skin 12 is more than capable for the longest of your mountain runs. Thanks to the Sensifit construction and Quick Link sternum bungees, you can dial in the vest for a comfortable carry using lightweight elastic adjustments on the sides and front with stretchy, breathable fabrics all around. In case you don't need the full 12 liters, side bungees double as a compression system to keep your equipment from bouncing around. The front storage is aplenty with two zip pockets, two elastic dump pockets, and sleeves for each of the included soft flasks, plus a hidden sleeve specifically for wrappers or other garbage. A lower back pass-through pocket allows easy access to an extra layer from either side. On the back is a reservoir sleeve, one shorter top-access pocket for quick access or smaller items, and a large main pocket accessible from the side zipper so you can dig through it without having to fully remove and set down the vest to reach the depths. Finally, multiple attachment points for the included bungee loops or the Salomon pole quiver let you customize where you store your poles when not in use.
