NNormal Kjerag 02 Shoe

The original Kjerag came to market as a race-ready shoe with simplicity in mind and durability as its theme. NNormal's Kjerag 02 results from watching, listening, and implementing changes, but keeping what worked. What worked? The full coverage Vibram Megagrip outsole, for one. Windows to the midsole may look neat, but nobody wants to replace a shoe because the Dolomites or your home trails are unforgiving. A 2.5mm increase in midsole thickness is subtle enough not to alter the overall feel of the shoe, but the increased cushion and rebound will be noticeable when you're chasing your next PR. Added rocker will help you roll through your stride and increase your downhill performance (WSER, anybody?). A focus on increasing durability is always on NNormal's radar, so tweaking the midsole compound was a no-brainer. Nnormal has chosen a TPEE-based foam for the Kjerag 02, giving the midsole more tear resistance and bounce than the original model. The Kjerag 02 remains a lightweight, race-ready shoe that can fly up climbs, but its enlarged and improved midsole will make it accessible to more runners over longer distances.

SkyRun Fit Tip: All NNormal shoes are sold in unisex (U.S. men's) sizes. We suggest sizing down by 1/2 US size in the Kjerag 02 for the proper fit.
