The double BOA lacing system may be the cherry on top of this Mega-Sundae. You can dial in the fit for great heel hold, a snug midfoot, and a forefoot that can be just right for uphill, distance, or downhill performance. The outsole is just as impressive with a Frixion XT 2.0 dual-compound rubber that sports a varied lug pattern ranging up to 3.5mm in depth. Styled like a racing shoe with a bit more cushion for those longer races, the Jackal II Boa combines all our favorite features from La Sportiva into one, well-balanced, dynamic high-alpine, long-distance shoe.
