La Sportiva Jackal II BOA Shoe - Women
We're all in a constant struggle to find the perfect footwear to balance x,y, and z, which is why we're singing the praises of La Sportiva's Jackal II BOA shoe! This shoe is featured-filled and may truly be the only shoe you'll need - seriously. Built for distance, there is plenty of cushion without having a crazy high stack height. To increase stability the midsole is armed with Infinitoo PU inserts in both the toe and heel. In terms of protection, you are safe from all sides with a full-length rockguard, TPU toe cap, and Ariaprene collar and tongue. The double BOA lacing system may be the cherry on top of this Mega-Sundae. You can dial in the fit for great heel hold, a snug midfoot, and a forefoot that can be just right for uphill, distance, or downhill performance. The outsole is just as impressive with a Frixion XT 2.0 dual-compound rubber that sports a varied lug pattern ranging up to 3.5mm in depth. Styled like a racing shoe with a bit more cushion for those longer races, the Jackal II Boa combines all our favorite features from La Sportiva into one, well-balanced, dynamic high-alpine, long-distance shoe.

Questions & Reviews
The lugs are still doing just great even after 150 miles, although I might be running a bit more gently and cautiously than some others. I cannot recommend this shoe enough.
I run on my toes, so I wasn't sure I was gonna like the 7mm drop, but this is all around a very comfy shoe and has a great balance of cushion and trail feel for me to feel secure and pull longer days on these.
