Hi!
Any info on what Dynafit kept from version 2? I love the heel loader and midfoot lacing, but can't tell if they changed those. Looks like the foam got an upgrade though!

Excellent questions! The V3 got multiple updates and does an excellent job of utilizing the strengths of the two previous iterations.
The upper has been fully redesigned and utilizes recycled materials wherever possible. The toebox has increased by ~4mm. The Heel Preloader remains a staple in Dynafit's trail footwear, and the V3 is no exception, but is integrated into the upper similarly to the V2.
The midsole now features SPEEDFOAM, a nitrous-infused Supercritical EVA which offers more cushion and increased energy return. The stack increases slightly, and the foam around the heel rises higher for lateral stability, especially in the heel cup.
The outsole remains unchanged from the V2, which was upgraded from the original Pomoca rubber to Vibram Megagrip with Traction Lub Technology.
In 2025, Dynafit updated its sizing to be more accurate. Most men now wear a full US size smaller, while women typically go down half a US size compared to previous models.
