My Running

Live in SW Colorado and run on mostly rocky technical trails, single track and mining roads. Currently running 3-5 trail races a year in the 10-20 mile range and heavy half formats with moderate elevation gain. Training often at 9,000 to 12,000 ft on peaks with talus fields. Working toward the Pike's Peak Ascent in the next year or 2.

My Gear

Currently training in La Sportiva Kaptivas until my last pair is completely worn out since the model is now discontinued. Have a new pair of La Sportiva Jackal 2 boas for races. Really like responsive trail shoes with lower stack height, 6mm heel drop, integrated tongue and a wide toe box. My heel and foot overall is narrow and I overpronate. For short distances I run with the Osprey Dyna 6 vest. For longer outings I wear the Nathan Pinnacle 12 liter pack.

This is the fastest drying sports bra I've found. The mountain pattern and colors offered are awesome. Love the mesh back panel and the shape of the light padding. My only complaint is that the stitching is really stiff and tight. The cups fit great, but the band was so tight I had to gently pop a bunch of the stitching until I could even get it on. Fits great now, but if I buy a second one I will probably size up.
Awesome feather-light layer for winter running when you just need to cut the wind. Can't beat Dynafit's awesome patterns and colors! The mesh back panel breathes great with a pack and I love the thumb holes. Wads up into a tiny ball in the hood when you need to stash it. I sized up to a size large to layer over a thicker base layer, or if I need to throw it on quickly over a running vest. The fit is still flattering and streamlined. Works great in 20-40 degree weather.
