La Sportiva Bushido III Wide Shoe
At last! The beloved Bushido is no longer limited to those with narrow feet. The La Sportiva Bushido III Wide offers the same form, functionality, and features to runners with feet that the standard model squishes. The Bushido II has been accoladed for its traction, protection, precision fit, and scrambling performance, which is unchanged in the Bushido III Wide. Ideal for technical terrain, the Bushido III has the lowest stack high of La Sportiva's line of running shoes at 19mm, keeping you close to the ground and yielding an impeccable trail feel - especially for a shoe with a compressed EVA rock plate. Compared to the previous model, the Bushido III boasts a more breathable upper, restyled outsole made with recycled materials and an updated lug pattern for better grip across diverse terrain. The sole still employs Sportiva's Bi-Compound Frixion Red rubber, the optimal formula for maximal stickiness and durability. Embrace the way of the warrior and best any technical terrain in single combat with the La Sportiva Bushido III Wide.
SkyRun Fit Tip - Pick your typical European size. We advise sizing up one-half US size if you are unsure of your Euro shoe size.
- Wider and taller forefoot than the standard Bushido will accommodate runners with less narrow feet.
- More breathable upper helps mitigate swamp foot on hot days.
- 1.5mm compressed EVA rock plate and TPU toe cap protect your feet from the harshest terrain.
- La Sportiva's Frixion Red rubber compound offers the perfect balance of longevity and stickiness.
- Precision fit with strategic TPU exoskeleton and outsole lugs that wrap onto the midsole for stability and reliability on uneven ground or rocks.

Questions & Reviews
I assume the men's WIDE is the widest toe box of the three. How do the women's WIDE and men's REGULAR compare?
As a woman with a wider foot, I usually wear men's La Sportiva shoes because they are so narrow. But now that there are these Wide shoes - I'm just wondering how the WIDE women's compare to the men's REGULAR? Which one is wider?
The photo shows the mens and women's Bushido. The Outsole measured the same, and the footbeds and shoe weight are the same too. They are identical, not all brands or models have different fits.
As far as the Men's wide version, they too have the same size insole. The overall width is not noticeably different. Here is what La Sportiva says the difference is -
NEW WIDE-FIT OPTION WITH +7MM OF CIRCUMFERENCE AND +2MM OF HEIGHT
IN THE TOE-BOX TO FOREFOOT
So it amounts to more volume and height in the toe box.
