Altra Lone Peak 9 Shoe
Even after eight iterations, the Lone Peak keeps getting better. With the Lone Peak 9, Altra made subtle tweaks to improve one of their most recognizable shoes further. The updated MaxTrac™ outsole offers more stickiness and better longevity. Altra also adjusted the EGO™ midsole foam for better comfort and ground feel. The breathable ripstop mesh with no-sew overlays for fewer potential fail points should put any durability concerns to rest. While 25mm of stack height may not sound like much protection for long days, the StoneGuard™ insert in the sole will protect the bottom of your feet from rocks or other antagonistic trail features without compromising your ability to feel the trail through the shoe. The zero-drop profile with Altra's roomy Original Footshape encourages a biomechanically natural stride with plenty of room for your toes to splay. From the office to the trailhead to the summit to the other end of the AT, the Altra Lone Peak 9 will have your feet reveling in blissful comfort.
