With the Prodigio Pro, La Sportiva takes a good thing and makes it better. Compared to the original Prodigio, which has quickly become one of our favorite daily trail shoes, the Prodigio Pro comes with a lengthy list of upgrades to every part of the shoe. The supercritical X-Flow nitrogen-infused midsole has a new TPU core for increased energy return and response has been redesigned to come up higher on the sides of the foot, helping with lockdown and stability. The outsole has been redesigned with Frixion White, La Sportiva's stickiest compound, to keep your footing secure even in wet and slippery conditions. A new upper with a knit ankle collar and sock-like midfoot wrap seals the deal, providing a snug and secure fit while reducing weight and keeping debris out of the shoe on long runs. Whether it's for race day or just a bit of help on your crucial training runs, the Prodigio Pro is a shoe you'll always want to throw on.
SkyRun Fit Tip - La Sportiva running shoes run small but stay consistent in their running line. We recommend sizing up one size from your measured euro size.
Stickier outsole with metatarsal wrap for increased stability and foot protection.
TPU core increases the energy turn and response of the midsole.
New Power Wire upper secures the midfoot and keeps debris out.
Tempo Ultra last will provide comfort for long mileage days.
I love these shoes and I highly recommend them- that's the bottom line. However, as someone who is on their third pair of the year I do have some thoughts. First, some positives: if you need a springy fast shoe that can handle any mountainous terrain- this is THE shoe. Found them to be great as my everyday trainer (initially) as well as my race day superhero. Now some of the cons. Sizing these correctly took some major effort. I wear a US 8.5 typically and wear the Akasha 2 in a 39.5. I enjoy a wider toe box and have a wider midfoot with a narrow heel (my left foot is slightly shorter than my right). I bought my first pair in a size 39.5 and the taper toe box in addition to the sock fit and power wire left my feet feeling awful on long technical downhill efforts. Goodbye toenail. Then, second pair followed online advice and went up to a 41. Much more comfortable but too big to feel confident on steep technical terrain. Finally landed on the 40.5 and overall feel like this is the best fit-I consider this pair my race pair or sub-ultra efforts. I would say the limiting size factor will be your preference for toe and mid foot snugness. Now, as someone who has spent the several months in this model I have additional thoughts. I am running on avg. about 60mi/wk with 20,000ft vertical gain. I have had too many little pains and niggles with this shoe to make it my everyday trainer and will move them back to my strictly performance shoe. While the springy-ness of this shoe has been stellar, the extra bounce has led to a few more ankle rolls than I would like. As someone who has a wide toe splay and utilizes this toe splay esp on technical downhills- the snug toe box has made me feel like I can't aggressively tackle descents. The perpetual snugness of this shoe provides great responsiveness but for high volume training has led to some metatarsal discomfort and wild big toe calluses. I have also noticed that the shoe does break in/stretch but only slightly. Personally, once my Prodigio's get past 180mi the insoles/arch support seem to soften quite a bit leaving my arches fatigued and sore. Other considerations would include the type of terrain you would typically be running in. I am typically run on highly rocky granite terrain and have used these shoes numerous times on scrambles and summits. They functioned phenomenally but didn't hold up well against the rocks- for example after a few rough mountain outings/summits the bottom rubber started to delaminate from the body of the shoe (but again, this was my own doing, riding the shoe on terrain that would be better suited for something like the akasha).
TLDR: dream shoe if you can comfortably find the correct fit, those with wider midfoot may struggle to find the correct size. Ideal race shoe than can also be utilized as a trainer but not for extended periods of the year. Handles running terrain fantastically but not meant for scrambles and technical summits (will get you by tho).
Sorry for the essay but this is all info I would have loved before dropping a few hundred bucks!

I see you possibly have the Womens Prodigio Pro in 41.5. Is this a figment of my imagination? I can't find this colorway or size anywhere else.
