If I wanted to add Shark grips to these, do I need 16mm or 16.5mm?

Does this pack have enough space to hold the required gear for a race like UTMB? Also, if I am generally a "S" in Dynafit mens clothing, assume I am an XS/S here?

Initial impressions after about 40 miles in these on mixed trails - sized up a whole size, which felt pretty perfect.
