I came to Maurten after using Spring Energy and snickers almost religiously and never thought I would be a gel/ dedicated sports food guy. However, I found the 225 Cocoa to be my go to "meal" on longer efforts. The downside is that they are extremely chewy. Like difficult to eat on the move, so they are a dedicated rest snack for me.
The flavor is like a less sweet chocolate rice Krispy treat so delicious.
