On the off-chance your desired Vibram outsole is molded after the tires on an RC Truck, try asking your manufacturer nicely. That was the exact approach that Satisfy took with TheRocker, their foray into a trail shoe, and Vibram satisfied Satisfy's proprietary demands. The unique Megagrip + Litebase outsole performs better than expected across a wide range of surfaces, so it's sure to be a winner on your home trails. Sandwiched between the rubber and the upper is the debut of Euforia S-Foam, a PEBA and EVA super foam that cushions as well as it rebounds. The upper is highly breathable and constructed from Nova Nylon 66, which boasts a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent abrasion resistance. Pair that with a 5mm drop and a low weight, and you have a long-distance, nicely cushioned, and techy-terrain-busting tool at your disposal. TheRocker may be Satisfy's first step into their own trail running footwear, but SkyRun hopes there will be many more offerings to come.

SkyRun Fit Tip - The Rocker fits true to your measured US size.

  • The outsole's 360° Wrap Construction increases surface area and durability.
  • Durable upper reduces weight while improving breathability and resilience.
  • Euforia midsole balances rebound and cushion for all-day and night efficiency.
  • Unique lacing allows one to set it and forget it.
  • Remember, if you look good, you feel good, and you run gooder.

Style and substance. I’m really impressed with how these shoes turned out. Given Satisfys niche in the running world of being a borderline fashion brand and $140 mothtech shirts I was somewhat dubious of dropping the money on this shoe, but no buyers remorse over here. Shoe is super light with a surprisingly plush feel that trends towards splashy on downhill. When trying the shoe on it felt REALLY tight across my midfoot but as soon as I ran in them even on descent I never noticed it. They fit a lot like a Salomon shoe with a bit of looser ankle collar that I like. Great shoe for casual Wasatch trails and feels good on technical ascents but a little too soft to fully trust to go full gas on a technical descent. Rubber is sticky and wouldn’t hesitate to take these up the south ridge or anything. I bet they last a bit longer than the average shoe given the sturdier materials used for the upper. Stoked on em.
