I've had the Ultra Glide 2 for a few months now. I was skeptical to such a high stack shoe, but I'm a full convert now! I actually find it to be more stable. The foam that comes up and around the heel of the foot helps lock you in and prevent ankle roll. All that cushion goes a looong way! For long, easy miles or recovery runs when my feet are sore, I reach for my Ultra Glides. As with all Salomon S/lab I wear a half size down from true US Size, so I'm in a 10.5
So pleasantly surprised by The Rocker. Satisfy's first attempt at a trail shoe had me suspicious, and it took me a while to come around to trying it, but I have really taken a liking to it. It is extremely comfortable. I do feel that it sizes a little smaller than the X3; I upsized from an 11 to 11.5. I have found that to be the case when sizing some others as well. It seems that if you are between sizes, then you should size up. This is the only Hoka shoe I have sized up. The updated upper and lacing system is a ...
Hi Hank! Great question! The length listed is the length of the entire pole from the tip to the very top of the pole. -Ross
