Salomon S/Lab Skyway Shoe
A shoe designed for hike & fly? Have the S/Lab scientists gone mad? Salomon's S/Lab Skyway excels on rocky and uncertain terrain while attempting to reach inspiring launch sites. Takeoffs and landings in mountainous areas can be hard on gear, so the designers added a generous toe cap and additional protection in high-wear areas. Salomon's All Terrain Contagrip inspires confidence on wet, hard, and loose surfaces because "uncertain terrain" isn't anything to gamble with. Smearing edges in the forefoot are excellent for days when spicier routes are on the menu, and the 4mm lugs keep things efficient for miles of travel on trails. The Sensifit build and Active Chassis provide stability for launches and landings, and the details of the shoes' upper weren't skimped on either. An integrated mesh lace cover keeps debris out and makes for a great-looking shoe, but it is also functionally important: catching a branch when hiking is annoying but potentially dangerous when taking off or landing. A unique Quicklacing pattern provides an even, comfortable pull over the entire foot, and the lace garage on the tongue stows the excess. If mountains and high places are the canvas, then the S/Lab Skyway is the brush to paint your next adventure.
SkyRun Fit Tip - We recommend sizing down 1/2 US size for the proper fit in the S/Lab Skyway (All S/LAB shoes are sold in men's US sizes - Ladies, please choose one full size down)
- The Active CHASSIS has lateral support for stable launches and landings on uneven terrain.
- EVA and Olefin midsole provide energy return and cushion for all-day adventures.
- The water-resistant lace cover provides protection and prevents inopportune snags.
- The unique lacing design paired with a sockliner hug your foot for exceptional control.
- Red and blue accents on the left and right shoes match your riser markings.
