Salomon Pulsar Trail Pro 2 Shoe
Did you know that the Pulsar SG 2 is just one of a family of shoes from Salomon? The Pulsar Trail 2 Pro may be a touch huskier, but that burliness comes with a host of benefits. The high cushion midsole is made of a foam that combines EVA, Olefin [OBC], and some fairy dust to make for a surprising springy feel that doesn't seem to waiver, even on long days. This concept is called Energy Surge and sums up the idea behind such a bouncy feeling midsole that gives back with every stride. Part of that equation is the Energy Blade, a light TPU plate that is hidden somewhere inside all that EVA to enhance propulsion and energy transfer to help fight fatigue. Not unlike Voltron, whose combined forces created a glorious, unstoppable robot, the Energy Blade, midsole foam, and sole geometry come together to create their own glorious and unstoppable mix of forward propulsion and underfoot stability. So, there's your suspension, but how's your grip? The All-Terrain Contagrip outsole is host to 3.5mm deep lugs that have an optimized geometry to grip in any and all conditions, yet deliver a smooth ride on less rowdy trails. Everything about Salomon's Pulsar Trail 2 Pro shoe screams, "All-Terrain" so you can throw them on for just about any occasion that brings you on trail.
