These are a dialed in and race ready version of the Dynafit Alpine. Notable differences are a more slightly aggressive tread, firmer midsole and even more secure fit. I have a fairly medium width shoe and have no issues using these for long days as well as short and fast missions. For your typical cruiser trail, the Alpine’s will do the job (and will last longer). However, for racing, speed work on trails or moving fast in technical terrain, these are the way to go.

These are my all daily drivers. I've used them for up to 25 mile trail runs, scrambly adventures, and as a go-to for easy runs and speed. Perfect for everything from training days to 100 milers. This pack is light enough to take just to carry two flasks and a gel, but also super capable of carrying a full kit including a jacket, headlamp, first aid and plenty of snacks. The only downside is the pole system generally requires removing the pack for stowing, but I ...
If I could only have one shoe, these would be the ones! The Ultra design provides enough cushion and comfort for big days, but they're light and snappy enough for spadework and daily runs. I dig the Pomoca rubber outsole. They're grippy and durable and not over-the-top aggressive. I put 450 miles on these before grabbing a new pair (90% on trail). At this point, the outer started to blow out, but the tread was still in great condition. My recommendation is to go up one full US size. With that in mind...
