If the only certainty of your run is that it’s going to be lots of miles and questionable terrain, then the Ultra 100 wants to come along. This comfy shoe is eager to log lots of miles without having to consider what it’s stepping on. Dry, wet, rocky, loose - the Ultra 100 simply doesn’t care. Maximum cushion minimizes trail abuse over rough terrain and the Pomoca outsole has been newly developed for optimum traction and an energy-efficient gait. As with all Dynafit shoes, a toe bumper protects you from stubbing your little piggies and ups the durability on abrasive trails. Be sure your shoes are up for the challenges you create when you head out with Dynafit's Ultra 100 Women's shoe.
SkyRun Fit Tip - To get the best fit we advise ordering one half to one whole US size larger than your normal shoes.
Invisible Lacing system gives your laces a home while keeping small debris out of your shoes.
Pomoca Gliding Path outsole leads to a more natural gait for extra efficiency with each stride.
Lots of cushion to keep you fresh as the miles stack up.
Outsole built for efficiency is an excellent choice for all but the most rugged terrain.
Entering my third race season using these shoes. The Pomoca soles are very grippy, even on steep loose dry "trails" and packed snow/ice. I agree with the other reviews that they don't drain/dry super fast, and aren't the first shoes I reach for when doing some technical scrambles. They are ideal for runs and races of 20+ miles. NOTE: I order one size larger than my normal size. I am a W's US 8 street shoe and I need a 9.0 in these.

I love this shoe! The cushioning is great for ultra distances. The shoe fits super comfortably and has become my go to shoe for training!

The Dynafit Ultra is a great supportive & well cushioned trail shoe for longer runs in the mountains. It's my go to for longer days that include more "runable" terrain, and still zippy enough for shorter 10min uphill Z3 intervals. Although it does really well on most surfaces (mud, dirt, rock, scree, etc.), I would go for the Dynafit Alpine if doing more technical terrain (e.g. a shorter 30km technical Skyrace). The cushioning and drop on the Ultra make it comfortable for more mileage but can throw off the balance a little in very technical terrain. The mesh on the toe is great for getting the laces out of the way. They are a little slow to dry if you will be in very wet conditions, however I ran for 6 hours in the "stay fast" Dynafit socks & Dynafit Ultras and had no blisters :)

e been running in the Ultra 100 for 2 years now and may never go back to anything else. Absolutely love these shoes!! From buffed out trails, to rugged scrambles, these shoes handle it all with grace, speed and comfort. The grip is incredible without being so aggressive that smooth trails aren't comfortable. I don't know how Dynafit nailed the combo of cushion and response, but they did. These are my go-to race shoes, long run shoes, and every day shoe! I'll often grab the Dynafit Alpine as well, but even they can't beat this shoe.

Question from
Henriette
I’m currently running in Salomon Sense Rides for my trail runs and am looking for something that might have even more cushion but not give up ground feel. I like the Rides but wonder how my feel will feel during a trail marathon or ultra. Thinking about these Dynafits or the Salomon Ultra Pro. Suggestions?
Hey Henriette, thanks for the question! The Ultra 100 is an excellent shoe and strikes a decent balance of both adequate cushions yet still stable through varied terrain. Unlike some other high cushion shoes in the market, the Ultra 100s feel quite a bit speedier and a tad more lively at that too. Another excellent option would be La Sportiva Mutant which has an excellent cushion and a bit more aggressive lug pattern but still responsive and stable too. For longer races, the Mutant would be a great contender as well. Let us know if you have any more questions!

I love these shoes so much that I am onto my second pair! These are my go to trail running shoes. They offer good support and cushion without feeling spongy or unstable. The traction is great on dirt and rocky trails. For me, they fit perfect right out of the box and true to size with no movement in the heel pocket. I also love this mint color!
