Bought this pole for training and mountain running. I went with this over some slightly lighter versions for durability purposes. While they aren't the most featherweight option, for their thickness they are appropriately light. They've stood up to plenty of abuse and don't show nearly any wear. I want to love this shoe, but alas, the issues with fit are too much to overcome. I bought this to use for long runs in technical terrain. I wear a US 11 in almost all running shoes, and that seemed to be the correct fit in trying these on, with just the right amount of extra room for my toes in front.
