Excellent gym and running short. What I like best: they are snug (I'm an off the rack Large in most, and in these), which works well for running longer distances or anytime you want a more, ahem, contained fit. Once on you do not know they are there which is just the point. I also really like Patagonia's running shorts, especially the larger pockets, but they do lose some of their tightness over time and during exercise. The only challenge with the Odlo is the decision to put the pocket center back. It works, but I found it small, and my iPhone XR only fits without a case on and just barely. For many activities this is not an issue. Sometimes in the gym I find that if left open the zipper can be felt in the lower back, but you can always use another short for that, and they otherwise work extremely well. I like having these in the rotation and would buy them again.

Huge fan of these shorts! They're super comfy and the liner is a nice touch to avoid bunching up and/or uncomfortable underwear. It took me a second to find the cell phone pocket (it's on the right liner) but once I did, I was happy to have it. Easy access and it really doesn't bounce at all. I only have a handful of runs in these shorts so far so I can't comment on durability, but I see no reason why they won't last a while.
