Ten years ago, it would have been hard to believe you could own a shoe that could talk the talk and walk the walk. norda had big shoes to fill (depending on the size) after the incredible reception of the 001; now they've doubled down for a faster take with the 002. What came out of the oven is a lighter, lower-stack shoe with a generously padded heel collar that excels at faster turnover in techy terrain while adding more overall comfort. However, norda's mission to leave a light footprint and use the best materials for durability remains intact, following the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" rule. For those that prefer a mid-stack-height shoe that compliments their quicker turnover or lower mileage weeks, the norda 002 should be on the short list of new shoe options.
