They also updated the tread pattern for better purchase but wisely kept the Vibram Megagrip outsole, increasing confidence in uncertain terrain. Adding an Achilles pillow takes up some of the generous heel space, which provides incredible hold and adds a welcome cushion where you didn't think you'd need it but now are happy it's there. The 33mm stack height offers comfort on the roughest trails and longest races. The updated Altra Olympus 6 has max cushion for max comfort and max smiles.
