1972 was an exciting year around the globe with Bobby Fischer becoming the World Chess Champion, the introduction of the Space Shuttle program, and the advent of Shoe Goo in Lyman Van Vliet's garage in Palos Verdes, CA. And just like that, the world of minor shoe repair was turned upside down. Small tears and imperfections can be easily fixed with a bit of time, patience, and a light squeeze of this fantastic chemical compound. Do your part to help keep shoes out of the landfill and extend the life of your favorite kickers with a little Shoe Goo.

Classic shoe goo is a lifesaver for extending the lives of my favorite shoes and boots -- especially smaller repairs like re-attaching the sides of rands and such. I even use it proactively on some work boots to reinforce areas I know wear faster. Not quite as bad as super glue or epoxy to remove from skin, but still would recommend using gloves when applying.
