The Wildfire NXT is a very capable shoe for moving fast in rugged terrain and feeling confident in your footwear. They broke in nicely after about 25 miles and ran much better than out of the box. The upper was very durable and has held up nicely. I’ve used them on ridge scrambles and runs down to the car and multi-pitch routes to have a quicker approach shoe, and they worked great for both scenarios. These aren’t a running shoe, they are a mountain shoe that runs.
